I’m giving this movie 10/10. It became one of my favorite movie & below are reasons why: First, it’s original, different from other horror movies, which brings interesting story, where crowd of few people seek historic relic & treasure. Movie was very eerie & creepy, especially when they go deeper & deeper close to hell. Some very strong & intense moments. Atmosphere was also eerie cause whole movie happens in damn catacombs. If you have Claustrophobia I don’t recommend to watch it. If you’re fan of movies like The Tunnel(2011) or The Devil’s pass, you gonna like it.
Great watch, would watch again, and can recommend.

It is found footage in the catacombs of France so in addition to shaky cam and odd angles, it does feel really claustrophobic at points. If you were okay with “The Descent”, then you’re likely fine.

This is based off of a real thing that people do, exploring existing structures, some lost through history, others unused, and even more that are assumed inaccessible from the the layman.

Personally, instead of making these places a crime, people should be able to add infrastructure as needed, but it is the primer for the events of the actual movie. Chased down into the catacombs, they basically just keep going towards insanity.

There are so many good points in the psychological horror of it all, and the great unknown of the caves plus random acts of terror makes a great formula for the events of this movie.

Probably the best “philosopher’s stone” story I’ve ever seen.

The theme of the movie is pulling the family feeling out of you. The acting of kevin is nice as always, but there is few details the director miss to include. Kevin hair style always goood!! **where is the busy father raising his daughter**. Few moments of his wife is not enough i never felt attached to his wife dead rather then what will happen with his relationship about arguments and struggling.. overall is nice to watch, it can be boring few minutes.
There are many films about parenthood, but Fatherhood caught my attention due to the main actor and the director. Kevin Hart (Jumanji: The Next Level) is one of the most recognizable, famous faces in comedy, so seeing him bring it down to portray a more grounded character dealing with an emotionally devastating moment in life is captivating, to say the least. In addition to this, Paul Weitz, one of the directors of American Pie, is directing this Netflix flick. How can someone not feel remotely interested in watching the final result?

Fatherhood may go through the usual plot developments and character building of the genre, but Hart offers a brilliant performance as the compelling protagonist who will grab every viewer’s attention. The actor proves yet again that he isn’t a one-trick pony, seamlessly incorporating the complex feelings of his character. From losing the woman he loves to raising a child on his own, the accumulated emotions keep the movie worth investing in. Alfre Woodard (The Lion King) is terrific as always, but Lil Rel Howery (Judas and the Black Messiah) isn’t really able to overcome the script issues when it comes to the comedic bits.

The jokes themselves are acceptable, but they’re often inserted at the wrong moment. There are many scenes where a joke could have helped lighten the heavy, depressing atmosphere, but they’re saved for dialogues that don’t require them. Howery is usually hilarious, but in this film, his character genuinely feels a bit irritating. Despite the overlong stay, it’s a movie I can see helping a lot of parents in similar situations while being entertaining and enlightening at the same time for other viewers.

> From an action packed flick to a game mode!

The first film was a decent entertainer, I kind of liked that and a box office hit as well. So the producers saw an opportunity to bring another film and yep, this film did slightly better than the original, but the product was qualityless. The graphics were just okay, but overall very poor in those blow-up scenes which were the most essential for a theme like this.

Not all, though some of the action sequences were terrible and the story was very weak. In fact, there’s no story, the whole film was an action- thriller just like the previous film. But that’s how this theme revolves, yet as a one, it is a bit disappointing follow-up without surprises. Anyway, I’m with the original film director who backed out of the project for giving him a bad script to direct.

So the London is the latest victim of the plot for the US president’s assassination. Particularly this 2nd part looked so much more alike a computer game than actors who are exhibiting their roles. Like the London is a battlefield and level after level the story making its progress till the game over, but we know who wins in the end. I don’t know whose performance was much better, because I did not find anyone with par to appreciate.

What this film did at the box office was a miracle, so I don’t think the filmmakers go for another script anytime soon. But if they do, I’m wondering which capitol would be the next victim of a terror attack. Expecting Tokyo or Canberra, especially Mumbai would be an ideal location. This is not a bad film, you can try it once, but watching it like sitting next to who’s with xbox joystick.
